Business Scope

At Reforesta Perú we cultivate forest estates according to our clients’ needs, transforming them into profitable and sustainable investments that are carried out with social and environmental responsibility. We evaluate and enhance soil quality to cultivate the most suitable forest species according to timber and non-wooden products markets, at the national and international level.

We continually conduct soil-quality studies that support the success of our forest plantations.

We develop forest plantations for corporate clients and/or biodiversity conservation projects throughout the country.

Initially located in the regions of San Martin and Ucayali -areas largely deforested in the last 50 years- our projects have been successfully implemented in areas where original woodlands have been removed more than 20 years ago.

Business in Social Inclusion

Additionally, we manage projects that create skilled jobs for thousands of people who, with our support, become a part of the global economy. In this way we promote forestry as a means of sustainable socio-economic development in local communities.

We supply more than one million forest seedlings a year of the highest genetic and physiological quality to major cocoa and coffee cooperatives in the region of San Martin.

We provide training and technical assistance to small farmers so they may become owners of millions of trees for the purposes of timber production and conservation of our Amazonian biodiversity.

The implementation of a business model for inclusive forest development is an effective action of Corporate Social Responsibility because it allows us to make a positive impact on 3,200 members of local agricultural cooperatives.
